Does anyone have the same problem? If yes, then you're not alone.
It started this week, on E-bay.ph, that my paypal transaction was denied. I thought that maybe I did something wrong.. So, i tried again.. I even tried transferring fund over the Paypal site, call the Unionbank hotline.. But no such luck.
After 5 consecutive days of trying.. so I thought, maybe I'm not the only one who's experiencing the same problem. So this is what I found out..
(What's wrong Unionbank staff? You're risking someone's reputation here and over e-bay. Business is also at risk. >:-/ Why weren't we given a notice about this issue? )
Solution? So far, here are the only alternate solution: (*This only apply for those living in the Philippines)
Ask a friend to transfer some paypal funds to you.
If not, you could try this (help by a fellow E-bay member)
Else, pay via Western Union (note: some charges applies)
That's all. Hope that helps. If you want, you can just wait for Unionbank to resolve this issue.. until then, I'll still find another solution.. because there's someone whom i need to pay. >_<
At any given chance, I would drop by in Megamall and spend most of the time in the Art Gallery (with a cup of coffee/fruitshake in hand) usually just to cool myself off because the weather is soo daamn hoot! Good thing I was able to visit yesterday's new exhibit in the Art Gallery. It was Zoomanities by Ronald Ventura (who's new to my ear). But I have seen his work before for a short span of time and it was displayed on a different venue.. i only remember this before..
[..cool huh?..]
At the first half-section of the gallery there were large (printed?) paintings, collage and a few (modified) sculptures.
Then, there's this dark place at the remaining half-section which showcases sculptures in minimal lightings. When you have entered the place, you will see a vast miniature sculptures of figures whose like part-human, part-animal.. if you look them closely, all were carefully and beautifully sculpted.. and each has unique characteristics.:3
[..I know my camera doesn't do justice ^^; Click to enlarge.. i suppose..]
Well, if you have time.. please do check out the gallery. It will be worth your time :] I've never been this excited since I've seen the previous exhibition of Froei (man, he's a god!). Hopefully, I would see his work again. I have seen his amazing creations on The Big & Small Art Co. but was afraid to enter 'cause I know I still can't afford to purchase one. ^^; I apologize for the crappy shots.. I only used my cellphone 5mp camera (Sony W850i). That's all for now...
After a week-long wait.. It's finally here! Arrived at 10 o'clock this morning..
[Alfredo P. Alcala Portfolio SIGNED (#633/1000)]
Being a big Alfredo Alcala fan.. I was a little disappointed not having a chance to bid on this rare item.. as its price rose up to $305 (Php 12,771.66)!! [link] I can't afford that much >_<;; and I thought that was the last opportunity for me to have..
But Thank God! ..someone posted theirs just after the auction, in much bettercondition.. which I bid and firmly defended 'til the very last minute.. for only $81 (Php 3,391.82)!! [link] I'm extremely happy that, at last, I have a signed work of Alfredo Alcala in my precious komiks collection! I'm also a proud owner of Alcala Fight Komiks #2! :]
I'm back! Whew~ I've been busy (believe me ;) ). Anyway, recently i have colored one of my recent drawings.. turns out to be a lot of fun! I'm getting used to Adobe CS now.. it's much less confusing than the first few try outs because I suck at coloring things. hehe. By the way, it's my birthday!! yey!!
Here is my latest artwork posted on DeviantArt [link] entitled Berks! ...
Next, I'll post the step-by-step on how i colored this drawing ^^ see ya around!
